Bi-County Community Action Programs, Inc. (BI-CAP) is seeking a Human Resource Clerk in Bemidji, MN.
This position files employee records; tracks, addresses or forwards employee correspondence and requests; assists with recruiting and hiring processes; sends weekly articles and information to BUZZ employee newsletter; assists with onboarding new employees; maintains employee files; prepares training materials; greets employees, answers basic HR questions and works to find solutions; and sends memos or correspondences to employees and applicants. Works with Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Assistant to ensure compliance to Federal and State labor laws.
Requirements: High School Diploma/GED with 2-plus years of office experience. Strong Microsoft skills, and must be friendly and genuine with employees and applicants.  A strong commitment to BI-CAP’s values of teamwork, responsibility, and respect for diversity. Must pass a DHS Background Study.
Part-time, 28 hours a week, $13.23/hr., unbenefited.
HR Clerk Job Description

Bi-County Community Action Programs, Inc. (BI-CAP) is seeking an Energy Assistance Specialist in Bemidji, MN.
Responsible for determining eligibility of clients based on guidelines for the program.  Some state and federal funding is administered.
REQUIREMENTS: Specialized training beyond high school that can be obtained in one year or less; and two years of related experience, or equivalent.  A social services background is preferred, but not required.  Candidates must meet the requirements of the Department of Human Services background study. Candidate must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP’s values of collaboration, innovation and compassion as well as a respect for diversity. Must pass a DHS Background Study.
Full-time 40 hours a week, seasonal, starting September 16th. $14.14/hr, unbenefited.
Energy Assistance Specialist Job Description

Bi-County Community Action Programs, Inc. (BI-CAP) is seeking 2 Preschool Head Start Teacher Assistants for its location in Bemidji, MN.
The Teacher Assistant is responsible for assisting in the effective operation of the Head Start classroom to promote and enhance the School Readiness of children and families in compliance with Head Start and MN Rule 3 regulations.
REQUIREMENTS: Teacher Assistant requires a minimum of a Preschool CDA to be obtained within two years of hire or its equivalent. Must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP’s values of collaboration, innovation and compassion as well as a respect for diversity. Applicants must meet DHS & MN Rule 3 licensing requirements.
Full-time 40 hours a week during the school year. $12.31/hr.+ DOQ, w/benefits through the school year.
Teacher Assistant Job Description

Bi-County Community Action Programs, Inc. (BI-CAP) is seeking 1 Preschool Teacher Aide for its Head Start location in Bemidji MN.
The Teacher Aide is responsible for supporting the Teacher and/or Teacher Assistant in the effective operation of the Head Start classroom to promote and enhance the School Readiness of children and families in compliance with Head Start and MN Rule 3 regulations.
REQUIREMENTS: Incumbent must be at least 18 years old. The job requires reading, communication, math and problem solving skills equivalent to High School Diploma or GED.  Must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP’s values of collaboration, innovation and compassion as well as a respect for diversity. Applicants must meet DHS & MN Rule 3 licensing requirements.
Full time 32 Hours per week through the school year – $11.29/hr., w/benefits through the school year.
