Bi-County Community Action Programs, Inc. (BI-CAP) is seeking a Head Start Nutrition Coordinator for its Bemidji Head Start Center.
The Nutrition Coordinator oversees the nutrition components of the Early Head Start/Head Start program and the planning, coordination and preparation of well-balanced, nutritious meals and snack for children and adults in accordance with the requirements of the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program.
Requirements: Must have Food Manager Certification or be willing to obtain and must meet the requirements of the Office of Head Start and the Minnesota Department of Human Services background study. One to two years related experience and/or training is preferred but not required. Must have strong organizational and computer skills. A valid driver’s license and current auto insurance are required to attend meetings and the ability to attend out of town overnight meetings as required.
Must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP’s values of collaboration, innovation and compassion as well as a respect for diversity. Applicants must pass a DHS Background Study.
Applicants must meet DHS & MN Rule 3 licensing requirements.
FT, 40 hours/week, year round, $17/hr DOQ, with benefits.
