Bi-County Community Action Programs, Inc. (BI-CAP) is seeking a Classroom and Home Coordinator for its Head Start location in Bemidji MN.
CLASSROOM AND HOME COORDINATOR: The role of the Classroom and Home Coordinator is to supervise, coordinate and support Family Coaches and the Young Parent Program (YPP) classroom, and to further children’s development.
The Classroom and Home Coordinator will coordinate support services for children and families through consultation with parents and staff to ensure children’s development and toward overall goal of school readiness. Will directly oversee the overall program performance standards, participant involvement, licensing requirements and cooperative agreements. Will review classroom lesson and home visit plans.  Will assist in developing individual and classroom child assessment reports, analyzing child and classroom outcomes, and developing and implementing plans to meet school readiness goals. They are an advocate for families through connections with other service providers and community agencies.   They will coordinate and provide social emotional screenings to determine strengths and needs. Will ensure timely submission of reports.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have valid driver’s license and insurance. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or equivalent coursework. Prior supervision experience preferred. Classroom and Home Coord. Job Description

Bi-County Community Action Programs, Inc. (BI-CAP) is seeking a Part-Time Office Support Specialist II for its office location in Bemidji, MN.
OFFICE SUPPORT SPECIALIST II: Performs administrative/clerical/office activities to assist agency management in administering programs and services offered to the community.   Incumbents interact with the general public by providing information and assistance as it relates to the department’s activities/services, and rules/regulations. The position requires knowledge of agency policies, procedures and activities.  At this level, incumbents are expected to be familiar with most agency activities and are able answer questions requiring greater knowledge and requiring more detailed explanations.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum job requirements are reading, communication, math and problem-solving skills equivalent to a High School Diploma or GED, and three years of related experience in a job involving office-related skills. Must have strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Office Support Spec. II Job Description

Bi-County Community Action Programs, Inc. (BI-CAP) is seeking a Full-Time Program Accountant for its Agency location in Bemidji, MN.
PROGRAM ACCOUNTANT: This position completes Fiscal department’s support functions such as providing services and information to Agency programs, funding sources, and auditors. Assists in meeting with Program Managers and other staff regularly regarding budget development, monitoring and administration. Assists in preparing new chart of accounts for grants/contracts as needed. Assists in calculating and submitting cash requests for grants. Assists in overseeing procedures for the proper timing of expenditures, and assists in and/or completes various General Ledger/journal entry processes. Assists in and/or oversees monthly client billing and collection efforts including coordination of MURL Program administration and collections with appropriate Housing staff. Communicates courteously and professionally and maintains working relationships with others in carrying out job functions.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and two or more years of related work experience, or equivalent.  Experience with grant reporting preferred. Must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP’s values of collaboration, innovation and compassion as well as a respect for diversity. Applicants must pass background check.
