Bi-County Community Action Programs, Inc. (BI-CAP) is seeking a Classroom Coach for its Head Start location in Bemidji, MN.
Classroom  Coach: for BI-CAP Head Start in Bemidji. Provides coordination and support of classroom staff and family coaches to further children’s development toward their kindergarten readiness goals. Classroom Coach will monitor and provide assistance to teachers in the implementation and adaptation of curricula for the group and individual needs of children in each Head Start classroom. Classroom Coach is responsible for coordinating and supporting services for children and families with identified disabilities/mental health needs through consultation with parents and staff to ensure children’s development toward the overall goal of school readiness.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood, Special Education or a related field, with strong knowledge of Special Needs and Mental Health services in relation to early child development. Four years of classroom experience and prior supervisory experience preferred. Must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP’s values of collaboration, innovation and compassion as well as a respect for diversity. Applicants must meet DHS & MN Rule 3 licensing requirements.
$17.00/hr DOQ, 40 hrs/wk w/benefits; year-round position.

Bi-County Community Action Programs, Inc. (BI-CAP) is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher for its Head Start location in Bemidji, MN.
Early Head Start Teacher: for BI-CAP Head Start in Bemidji. Responsible for or assisting the classroom teacher with the effective operation of the Early Head Start classroom to promote and enhance the School Readiness of children and families in conformance with Head Start regulations.
Requirements: Requires 2 or 4 year degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education; or Infant/Toddler CDA with experience teaching preschool-age children. Applicants must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP’s values of collaboration, innovation and compassion as well as a respect for diversity. Head Start applicants must meet DHS & MN Rule 3 licensing requirements.
$14.64/hr DOQ, 40 hrs/wk w/benefits; year-round position.
